Every gas-powered equipment or appliance sold in the province of Québec must be approved by an organization which is recognized by the RBQ.
These organizations must affix their seal or label to attest to the compliance of the equipment or appliance with Canadian standards. Other organizations could be recognized by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC). Consult the Directory of Accredited Product to know their scope of accreditation.
