Examinations

What happens if you fail?

If you receive a notice of a failed examination, you have 30 days from the time you receive it in which to submit an application to retake the examination [Fr] – PDF (181 KB). This application must include the full fee amount for the examination(s) you wish to retake. The RBQ will contact you to notify you of the date of the examination session.

If you fail at the retake examination, you will have to wait six months from the date of this decision before you can take it again.

If you wish to contest your failure, you have 30 days from the date of the RBQ's ruling of failure to submit an application for a review [Fr] – PDF (596 KB).
