15.3.1 Contractor – Oil burners for certain work that is not reserved exclusively for master pipe-mechanics

This subclass authorizes maintenance work related to oil burners.

It also authorizes construction work related to oil burners and carried out on the territory of a local municipality whose population does not exceed 5,000, except if it has a public sewer, or on an unorganized territory. 

Finally, it authorizes related construction work. 

Additional explanations

This subclass is included, in its entirely, in subclass 15.3.

This subclass authorizes, without exceeding the regulatory framework, construction work relating to:

  • the installation and connection of oil burners in a heating unit  
  • the installation of oil stoves, floor oil furnaces, pot-type burners, etc. 
  • the installation of oil supply pipes and connection to the burner 
  • the installation of the oil tank connected to the burner (underground, above-ground, indoor or outdoor)
  • the installation of wall vents and chimney flue
  • the connection to the chimney
  • the installation and connection of prefabricated oil chimneys
  • the installation of chimney flue liners  
  • the installation of controls and regulators 
  • the maintenance and demolition of oil burners.   

NOTE: This subclass does not include similar work.
