What the RBQ does not do

The mandate of the RBQ is to issue the contractor’s or owner-builder’s licences.

However, the RBQ’s mandate does not include:

  • the issuance of contractor’s licence in the fields of electricity and plumbing
  • the issuance of qualification cards or certificates of qualification
  • the assistance to business start-up.
